Roma, Italia Day II November 7, 2011

This day is a bit of a blur with pain meds. I could not get my head around a catheter and what I was supposed to do about it (the answer is nothing, what a genius apparatus!). I also had a drain coming from my watermelon-like (large sized and very firm) belly. I had an IV going with nutrition, antibiotics and something someone said was a gastric (and then some Italian words). Lindy sneaked in early in the morning but promptly got kicked out. She told me that Carly spent the night. I think the girls came back that afternoon. The Dr. students and their teachers come in and out of the room occasionally pushing and prodding. Still naked!
